As the first week of the fall semester begins, early enrollment numbers are set to shatter records at Three Rivers College.
As of the first day of classes on August 15, total enrollment stands at 4,227. That is as much as an 11% increase over fall 2010.
"This is the golden year," said Dr. Devin Stephenson, President of Three Rivers College.
"They're flocking to our classrooms in record numbers," said Stephenson.
It's not just on the main campus in Poplar Bluff.
"Our Kennett center had a 29% increase in credit hour production", said Stephenson. "The Cape Girardeau center had a 48% increase in credit hour production."
At the Sikeston campus there is also an increase. That campus is so packed, they're hoping to build a new one and soon right of Highway 60.
"We've hit 500 students (at Sikeston) this year so we have no room," said Stephenson.
