Free financial aid workshops
POPLAR BLUFF (KFVS) - Three Rivers College will offer two workshops to help students with financial aid.
The free workshop, "Navigating the Waters of Financial Aid," will be taught by student loan management specialist Davine Conover. The first will be held at the Tinnin Fine Arts Center on Thursday, November 3rd at 6:00 p.m. A second workshop will be held on November 29th at the Kay Porter Building at Poplar Bluff High School. It begins at 6:00 p.m.
The workshop is intended for college-bound students and their parents. According to Conover, students who take their first two years at Three Rivers College could save anywhere from $4,000 to $17,000.
