Vietnam Veterans of America donates to veterans through VA’s 'Care and Share' program
POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1056 recently made a donation for the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center’s 2012 “Care and Share” program.
Care and Share provides holiday meal baskets to Veterans in need. The baskets contain enough items to make a festive holiday meal and are funded through the generosity and donations of veteran and community organizations.
Anyone interested in volunteering or donating to help area veterans may contact Donna Reynolds, chief of voluntary service at 573-778-4275 or voluntary service assistant, Kevin Ellis at 573-778-4276.
