BUTLER COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Wappapello Lions Club are proud to announce the 20th Annual Festival of Lights Christmas Auto Tour will commence on Friday, November 23, from dusk until 9 p.m.
The Corps says everyone is invited to come out and help usher in the holiday season by driving through this winter wonderland. Over 200,000 lights will transform and illuminate the Redman Creek Campground Area.
The event will be open weekends only (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) from Nov. 23, until Dec. 9. It will be open every night from Dec. 14 through 31.
You can enjoy the beauty of the various holiday scenes from the warmth of your vehicle. There will be special appearances by Santa Claus and Bobber the Water Safety Dog during the course of the event. Admission is free of charge, however donations are accepted by the Wappapello Lions Club.
