POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - One of the largest annual Beta Club Conventions in the country will be at the Black River Coliseum on Friday, November 30.
The convention will feature students from across the state competing in various academic/talent competitions.
The Poplar Bluff Beta Club, along with a group from the fifth and sixth grade center, will join all the participating clubs in Missouri at the convention. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. on Friday. The first general session featuring campaign speeches will be at 10:30 a.m. The final session ends at 7:30 p.m., followed by dancing until 9 p.m.
The winners will have a chance to compete later at the National Beta Club Convention.
