Tech expert shares tips on how to succeed with digital conversion | Events

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - Chief Technology Officer for Mooresville Grade School District in North Carolina, Dr. Scott Smith, visited Poplar Bluff Schools on Monday and Tuesday, January 14 through 15 to consult with school officials about the digital conversion currently being piloted there.

Mooresville is nationally recognized as a lighthouse district for its successful implementation of the one-to-one laptop initiative in terms of student achievement and, according to Smith, teachers have not purchased a classroom textbook in five years, with the rare exception of advanced placement courses.
