Registration open for exclusive government crash course | Events
POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - Poplar Bluff High School senior Alexa Atkinson discusses with 28 interested juniors on Thursday, January 24, in the cafeteria her experience last year attending Missouri Girls State.
Natalie Riley is the director of MGS, which is offering up to six female students the opportunity to spend a week in June of intense government study at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.
Bettie Rusher, the Missouri Boys State district chairwoman, spoke with 25 interested male high school juniors about the exclusive opportunity earlier in the day. Last school year, eight PBHS students were able to participate.
