Poplar Bluff students get a chance to sample potato dishes | Events

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) -  Some Poplar Bluff students recently got a delicious lesson on potatoes.

In an effort to teach students about different types of vegetables, Chartwells School Dining Services offered a food bar featuring red skinned, fingerling, purple, yukon gold and sweet potatoes on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Poplar Bluff Junior High School.

Students were able to dish up a sampling of different types of potatoes during lunch.

Chartwells intern Sherry Brand described the vegetables to the students and managed the vegetable bar.
