POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 90-year-old man suffered serious injuries after he ran is car into a drainage ditch.
On Tuesday, March 6 around 2:45 p.m. Wilbur V. Winchester of Poplar Bluff was driving his 2010 Chrysler eastbound on Route U, one mile east of Broseley when it left the side of the road, hit a ditch and then ran into a drainage ditch.
The highway patrol says Winchester was taken by air evac to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
