POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS)- Police in Poplar Bluff literally tracked down two armed robbery suspects.
The robbery happened early Wednesday morning at the Casey's General Store on East Pine.
Police arrested 22-year-old Chaddrick Smith and 20-year-old Kwamae Triplett for the crime.
Police were able to catch up with the pair, after the K-9 unit tracked their scent to a nearby parking lot where investigators found acceleration marks on the pavement.
They eventually found fresh tire tracks in a grass lot that lead to smith and Triplett's home.
The pair now faces charges including: first degree robbery, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
