Man injured in hunting accident in Stoddard County
STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS)- According to Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner, a man is in serious condition after being shot in the shoulder and neck.
The 32-year-old male was hunting in the Otter Slough area with at least one other person around 8 a.m. Monday morning.
No word on how the man was shot, but the initial impact was in the left shoulder with some pellets entering his neck.
He was taken to a hospital in Dexter and later flown to the Saint Francis Medical Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
