POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - Poplar Bluff school officials recently met at the Missouri Capitol with lawmakers to discuss funding for career and technical education.
Missouri Center for Career Education Region 7 grant coordinator Camille MacDonald, Poplar Bluff High School Agriculture Education instructor Charles Kinsey and Technical Career Center Director Jean Winston met with Rep. Todd Richardson and Sen. Doug Libla, each of Poplar Bluff, on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Missouri Capitol.
The purpose of the visit was to promote career and technical education and discuss a bill coming before Congress involving continued funding.
